WHAT

TO EXPECT

Our personal training space is located within POINT Gym. We train alongside the POINT coaches and a few other Portland personal trainers and coaches. This is a working environment with all different types of athletes who celebrate their similarities and differences. The gym is a basic box, with the focus being on the members, clients, training programs, community, support, and fun. It's not a fancy gym but it feels great to train there!

WE'RE LIKE

Our number one priority is listening to you and making sure we're doing what it takes to get you the results you desire. Elevation Kinetics is a results based personal training service in Portland, Oregon. We get to the bottom of what makes each individual client tick, what their strengths and weaknesses are (in all areas), and work together to create an action plan for success. We have success systems available for all different types of athletes (people) with many different goals.  Like all good things, improving health, body composition, sports performance and physical conditioning is as much about the journey as it is the destination. A good relationship with your coach is a vital part of this process. In your training sessions you'll work hard (of course), have a great time with your trainer and the athletes working around you, get to hear lots of jokes (some of them funny), and be part of a community of people working together (or at least around each other) to become a better version of themselves. It's a fun place to reach your goals.

Fitness is a huge passion of mine, especially watching how it improves the quality of other peoples' lives. I love to be a part of that; it's one of the greatest joys of my life. I was overweight as a child, and although I didn't let that slow me down too much athletically (I played field hockey growing up, and did track and field in high school, throwing discus and shot put and running the 400 meter) I hit a point where enough was enough and changed the course of my life by getting involved in weight training.  
 I decided at age 20 to change my education focus to fitness so I could help other people experience the accomplishment of improving their lives through fitness every day. Since then I've grown to love the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest and encourage others to explore it in every way they can. I also spent 5 seasons playing women's tackle football (inside linebacker) on the Portland Shockwave Women's Professional Football team. I retired from football and have spent the last few years carving my physique to compete in Figure, a women's division of bodybuilding...I guess you could say I like a challenge!

I founded Elevation Kinetics in 2011 because I wanted to create the best experience possible for my clients-- a truly personal experience with the highest level of attention, service, trust, and support. I help my clients get the results they want by building relationships, giving my 100% and expecting 100% in return.


I have a wonderful husband (who runs marathon) and a 13 year old daughter (who plays and violin) and I enjoy spending time with my family... whether it's the plain old day to day or experiencing some great adventure. I love feeling confident that we're up for anything.
